As per the title of this blog I started it closer to Thanksgiving, but now it is closer to Christmas.
I have NOT finished my paper yet, and I am kind of not happy with myself about it. I have the knowledge and I have working words in my head but I cannot for the life of me put pen to paper.
This past week was the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco. I was able to talk with a bunch of other scientists and attend a good number of talks to give me some ideas on how to move forward with my research. I always feel super charged after coming back from a conference. Let's hope Christmas doesn't kill my buzz.
I am currently sitting in the Salt Lake City airport waiting for my plane back to BWI. I arrive tomorrow (Sunday) at 6 am, and technically I have a holiday party to go to, but I might choose to skip and sleep my Sunday away.
I have set up my 2017 New Years resolutions. I am hesitant to post them, because if I fail I have my internet self to hold me accountable.
