Post #21: Pan Project Update

Best part of this 'Project Pan' is that I was able to take a real look at all the makeup I have in my collection, and trash the old makeup that I had no business holding on to.

1. Clinique High Impact Mascara (2) [These I took from makeup that my sister was decluttering]
2. Elizabeth Arden Ceramide [I have had this one since 2012]

4. Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant [This one I have only had for a little over a year, it is one of my favorite mascaras so I should be able to use it up easy enough]

Post #16: My Pan Project

Start Date: June 28, 2017

On the evening of June 27th, I went through my makeup and decluttered (aka threw out) some mascaras and eyeshadows (5 mascaras, 3 eyeshadow pallets). I also set aside a number of products that I added to my first ever Pan Project list. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term Pan Project, it is something that has been circling in the YouTube Makeup Artist community, where you commit to finishing products, aka "Hit pan," before purchasing new makeup. I have quite a bit of makeup, so I thought this would be a good think for me to do. Also, before posting this I went through my lip product drawer and decluttered a couple lip glosses (They were more gloopy than glossy) and some lip stains (they were dried up).

So as I said, I made this list on the evening of June 27th, and officially started on June 28th. Though, I realized on the morning of June 29th I used eyeshadow from my Smashbox Strobe Effect pallet instead of the eyeshadows I was supposed to be using. But here is to using up what I already have, instead of buying more!

I hope to do an update in about six months, just before the New Year, but with the foundations: here's hoping I get through them before my tan fades.

PS After I am done cataloging my lipsticks, I have a couple sample sized lipsticks to add to the next round of my Pan Project.
